Juice Therapy
The use of natural, fresh juice to treat conditions and ailments. During raw juice therapy, the eliminative and cleansing capacity of the organs of elimination, namely lungs, liver, kidneys and the skin, is said to be greatly increased with accumulated waste and toxins quickly eliminated. The favourable effect of raw juices in the treatment of disease is said to be attributed to the fact that raw juices of fruits and vegetables are extremely rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and natural sugars which contribute to a normalising of all body functions. The benefit of juice as opposed to eating whole vegetables is that it requires no digestion so that all the 'goodness' is easily absorbed into the bloodstream. As raw juices are rich in alkaline elements they are said to have a highly beneficial effect in normalising acid-alkaline balance in the blood and tissues. Over-acidity causes/contributes to many conditions such as gout & arthritis. For further information:

Kinesiology
The study of human movement that draws on the principles of Chinese Medicine, with its goal to discover and develop strategies for human health and performance. Kinesiology is a holistic system of natural health care which uses muscle monitoring to communicate directly with the body. It is said to uncover and help the underlying causes of health problems that are difficult to find by any other means.
The kinesiologist applies pressure to a contracted muscle and the client is asked to match or resist that pressure. The kinesiologist then evaluates the functioning of the muscle in response to a specific stimulus. The response of the muscle, whether it is able to remain in contraction or unlocks, gives the kinesiologist feedback.
This feedback is used to determine what the priority stresses are and the best way to address them.

Light Therapy
Also known as phototherapy. The therapy consists of exposure to light using lasers, LEDs, fluorescent lamps, dichroic lamps or very bright, full-spectrum light, for a prescribed amount of time.
It has been found to be effective in treating acne, eczema and psoriasis. Doctors have also had some success using infrared light to treat patients with neuropathy to help restore sensation in the limbs, reduce pain, and to improve circulation - thus increasing the healing rate of non-healing ulcers. It is believed that infrared light helps to release Nitric Oxide into the bloodstream, which aids in increasing local circulation and improving blood flow. People with diabetes have poor circulation due to their naturally low levels of Nitric Oxide, and sedentary habits. The therapy is also used to treat SAD syndrome (seasonal affective disorder), and delayed sleep phase syndrome. See:

Lymphatic Drainage
A very gentle and relaxing massage, using a rhythmic pumping action to move lymph around the body to the appropriate drainage sites.
The lymphatic system has three interrelated functions - the removal of excess fluids and toxins from body tissues, the absorption of fatty acids and subsequent transport of fat to the circulatory system and the production of immune cells (such as lymphocytes monocytes and antibody producing cells called plasma cells). Unlike blood flow which is circulated by the heart, the lymph system does not have its own pump and relies on muscle action to move it around. Inactive people tend to have sluggish lymphatic systems and benefit from lymphatic drainage. It can be used to stimulate the immune system, to help the body to reduce toxin overload, and to reduce swelling by stimulating the lymph flow. For further information:
